WHERE WE COME FROM
Citizens Against Tyranny began with a small group of individuals who shared a growing unease, that power in America was consolidating in the hands of a few while the voices of everyday people were being drowned out. From quiet towns in the heart of the bible belt to communities across the nation, we saw the same pattern: authority tightening its hold, freedom quietly slipping away. Refusing to remain silent, we came together to form a movement dedicated to protecting liberty, demanding accountability, and standing for the democratic ideals this nation was built upon.
What started as late-night conversations and online exchanges soon grew into something larger. Concern became conviction. Connection became community. Local discussions turned into regional alliances and partnerships with national advocates for transparency and justice. Out of these efforts, Citizens Against Tyranny Network was born, and with it some months later, the establishment of 50501 Joplin, our regional organizing hub dedicated to empowering citizens through education, outreach, and collective action.
When the 2024 election made clear how deeply money and manipulation could distort democracy, we refused to accept defeat. The presidency was not won — it was bought, buried beneath dark money, disinformation, and unchecked influence. But we are not powerless. We reject the oligarchs and their enablers who seek to buy our democracy. We stand for liberty, not for sale, not to be silenced, and we are organizing, speaking out, and taking action to reclaim what is, and always has been, ours.
Today, Citizens Against Tyranny Network continues to grow as a network of informed, empowered citizens committed to the defense of constitutional rights and community accountability. Through C.A.T.N., 50501 Joplin, and beyond, we believe in people — in their strength, their courage, and their ability to shape their own futures. Change does not wait to be granted; it is built through action, conversation, and solidarity.

Guided by the protections of the 14th Amendment, we stand firmly against those who use wealth, influence, and disinformation to undermine democracy. The 2024 election revealed how deeply dark money and manipulation can distort the will of the people. Yet we are not powerless. We believe that liberty is not for sale, and we are committed to organizing, educating, and mobilizing communities to reclaim a government that serves its citizens, not the highest bidder.

We confront threats to democracy head‑on. Grounded in constitutional ideals, we challenge authoritarianism, corruption, and the abuse of power—regardless of political party or position. Through bold civic engagement and relentless advocacy, we fight to:

As part of this mission, we are unequivocally committed to holding Donold †®*mp and his enablers accountable for their attacks on democratic institutions and the rule of law — including by pursuing impeachment — from abuses of emergency and military powers to efforts to undermine free elections and target vulnerable communities.
OUR ALIGNMENT WITH THE 50501 DEMANDS
Citizens Against Tyranny Network does not operate in isolation. We are part of a broader, growing movement of Americans who refuse to accept the dismantling of democracy, the abuse of power, and the erosion of constitutional rights. That is why we proudly align ourselves with the 50501 movement and its seven core demands, from releasing wrongfully detained individuals and restoring the rule of law to establishing a Truth & Accountability Commission and prosecuting election interference.
These demands speak directly to everything C.A.T.N. was built to fight for. We encourage every member of our community to read them in full, talk about them with neighbors and family, and hold every elected official accountable to them. The movement is growing, and you are part of it.
